We have a patent on our product due to the fact that we have developed an extraordinary method of production. Our food barrels are approved by the Norwegian FDA (Food and Drug Administration) for food-storage. The food barrels are being produced in five different sizes, ½ litre, 1 litre, 3½ litre, 5 litre and 10 litres. We have also developed an easy method of removing and replacing the lid. The lid is safe for transportation. We can laser-burn logos and inscriptions on different materials. HISTORY Traditionally anchovies were packaged in miniature wooden barrels. This was the packaging method commonly used for shipping anchovies to consumers domestically and internationally. These miniature barrels filled with Norwegian anchovies, were a common sight on dining tables all over the world. In Norway, several hundred thousand barrels were made annually. In 1881, 456,000 miniature 3,5 litres barrels of anchovies were exported.
